OVERVIEW

Legacy 855e

The Legacy 855e by Taylor is a 12-string acoustic-electric that pays homage to the original ultra-playable 12-strings that helped establish Taylor's reputation in the music industry. This model features the classic Jumbo body shape, perfectly suited for the unique sound of a 12-string.

Crafted with solid Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, this guitar boasts Bob's favored traditional X-bracing for exceptional balance and warmth, with bright and sparkling trebles highlighted by octave textures. Its large air chamber provides powerful sound without sacrificing touch sensitivity, allowing for a versatile dynamic range that responds to the player's touch. The modernized Taylor neck offers a contemporary feel, while the straight-ear peghead with rosewood veneer and mustache bridge add a touch of classic style.

The aesthetic of this model reflects Bob's original builds, with features such as white binding, a green abalone three-ring rosette, faux-tortoiseshell pick
