Martin D10E Retro Sapele
Dreadnought Acoustic Electric w/Softshell Case

The Martin D-10E Retro delivers that big, confident dreadnought response with a solid spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, supported by scalloped X-bracing for punchy projection and a clear, balanced voice. It’s a dependable workhorse for strummers, flatpickers, and singer-songwriters who want strong acoustic presence and an easy transition to the stage.

Big Dreadnought Projection with Solid-Tonewood Response

Built in a D-14 fret body size, the D-10E Retro brings the power and headroom dreadnought players love. The solid spruce top provides articulation and dynamic range, while the solid sapele back and sides add focus and clarity, making it a great choice for everything from rhythmic strumming to bold lead lines.

Comfortable Performing Artist Neck Feel for Modern Playability

A Performing Artist profile with High-Performance Taper keeps the neck feel fast and comfortable up the board, with a 1 3/4" nut width and 25.4" scale length for clean fretting and confident chord work. An ebony fingerboard rounds out the feel with a smooth, responsive playing surface.

When it’s time to plug in, Martin E1 electronics provide a straightforward, gig-friendly setup, including a built-in tuner for quick adjustments between songs. From rehearsal to live performance, it’s ready to amplify without overcomplicating your signal chain.
