Fender California Deluxe Redondo CE Acoustic Electric

Full-bodied cutaway acoustic electric with solid spruce tone and Fishman electronics

Overview

The Fender California Deluxe Redondo CE Acoustic Electric is built for players who want bold acoustic projection, comfortable modern playability and dependable plugged-in performance. Its full-sized Redondo body delivers a strong, room-filling voice, while the cutaway design gives players easier access to the upper register for lead lines, melodic ideas and more expressive playing. With a solid Sitka spruce top, laminated mahogany back and sides, scalloped X bracing and Fishman CD-1 electronics, this California Deluxe model is ready for writing, practice, recording and stage use.

Features

The solid Sitka spruce top gives the Redondo CE a lively and responsive acoustic voice, while the laminated mahogany back and sides help provide warmth, balance and a full-bodied response. Scalloped X bracing supports strong resonance and projection, making this a good fit for players who want an acoustic electric that can handle confident strumming, vocal accompaniment and dynamic performance.

The slim “C” mahogany neck and 12 inch radius walnut fretboard create a smooth, modern playing feel that is approachable for both acoustic and electric players. A 25.5 inch scale length gives the guitar a familiar acoustic snap and string response, while the cutaway body shape keeps the upper frets accessible for more melodic playing.

The onboard Fishman CD-1 preamp gives the Redondo CE practical stage-ready control. Volume, bass, treble, tuner and phase controls let you shape your amplified tone directly from the guitar, while sealed die-cast split-shaft tuning machines, a Micarta nut and saddle, Modern Viking bridge and phosphor bronze strings complete a reliable acoustic electric platform built for everyday use.
