OVERVIEW

Taylor 814ce Gold Label Honduran Rosewood Acoustic Electric Guitar

In 2018, Andy Powers, the chief guitar designer at Taylor, introduced the V-Class bracing architecture, which was heralded as a revolutionary "sonic engine" that provided a versatile musical foundation for expressing Taylor's guitars in significantly varied ways.

With the introduction of Taylor's new Gold Label Collection, Andy has ventured into uncharted sonic territory, drawing inspiration from a more traditional sound. The guitars within this collection incorporate several innovative design features that enhance their tonal quality, including a new Super Auditorium body shape, a distinctive V-Class-inspired bracing pattern, and an extended tenon neck joint, all complemented by a fresh decorative aesthetic. The Gold Label Collection is positioned as a premium-performance segment within the Taylor range, distinguished by its unique design identity, akin to Taylor's Builder’s Edition Collection.

This collection debuts with two wood combinations: Honduran rosewood paired with torrefied Sitka spruce, and figured Honduran Rosewood combined with torrefied Sitka spruce.
