Taylor Gold Label Grand Pacific Acoustic Electric in Sunburst | Cream Pickguard w/Deluxe Hard Case - 717EGLSBCP

Taylor Gold Label 717e SBCP

Vintage Warmth. Modern Precision. Bold Visual Statement.

The Taylor Gold Label 717e Sunburst redefines traditional acoustic character with a bold new aesthetic and unmatched sonic depth. Part of Taylor’s prestigious Gold Label Collection, this premium Grand Pacific model features a modified, deeper body design that elevates its naturally warm, round, and powerful tone—blending vintage acoustic flavor with modern craftsmanship and adjustability.

At the heart of its rich voice is a torrefied Sitka spruce top, specially roasted for a mature, aged-in tonal response, paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides to deliver shimmering highs, lush overtones, and a warm, piano-like low end. The unique fanned V-Class bracing inside optimizes airflow and flexibility across the top, increasing projection and sustain while fine-tuning the intonation across the entire neck.

The Action Control Neck™, exclusive to Taylor, features a long-tenon neck joint for greater tonal coupling and resonance between the neck and body. This patented design also allows for micro-adjustable string height changes in seconds—no need to detune or remove the neck—making it ideal for players who demand refined comfort and responsiveness in any environment.

Visually, the 717e Sunburst commands attention. The high-gloss black soundboard is accented with cream-colored binding, rosette, and pickguard, while Crest inlays in matching cream grace the fretboard and peghead. A Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with Indian rosewood pins provides a touch of exotic contrast, completing a look that balances vintage inspiration with bold sophistication.

Equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics, the 717e Sunburst projects with studio-quality warmth and detail when amplified, making it a stage- and studio-ready performer. It ships in a British Cocoa Gold Label hardshell case—a premium match for a guitar that’s as sonically stunning as it is visually arresting.
